Inspired by a true story, the Big Miracle 2012 film is a fact-based film which recalls the 1988 rescue of a trio of California gray whales that got trapped under the ice of the Arctic Circle. This true story actually captured the hearts of the people all over the globe. The rescue adventure of Big Miracle actually tells the amazing tale of a small town news reporter (role played by John Krasinski) and a Greenpeace volunteer (Drew Barrymore) who were joined by rival world superpowers to save a family of majestic whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle. The people from all across the world were really touched by their story so in this film, you can see how the people tried to do everything that they could just to save these poor animals. You can see how these reunited all the people, near and far, as they try to find a way just to save the whales. As the world’s attention turns to the top of the globe, saving these endangered animals becomes a shared cause for nation’s entrenched against one another and leads to a momentary thaw in Cold War.
