After finishing the Harry Potter Film series, Daniel Radcliffe is now working on another movie but this time, it is a horror thriller film which is entitled “The Woman in Black”. Radcliffe plays the role of a young lawyer named Arthur Kipps who travels to a remote and isolated village in order to organize a recently deceased client’s papers, where he encounters the ghost of a scorned woman set to make revenge to those who have probably made her suffer to death.
The Woman in Black 2012 Movie is set for release on February 3, 2012 under the distribution of CBS Films. The film is written by Jane Goldman and directed by James Watkins. The supernatural thriller film is actually based on the novel of the same name written by Susan Hill. It is going to be produced by Hammer Film Productions and it stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Sophie Stuckey and Liz White.
The story of the film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps, who leaves his son in London when he was sent to a desolated village to settle the legal affairs of the recently deceased Alice Drablow. As he works alone in the client’s deserted house, Kipps began to uncover tragic secrets revolving around the house as well as in the entire village. Another thing, his uneasiness grew even fonder when he gets sight of a mysterious woman dressed in black. What is more disturbing and worrying is the fact that he can’t get any information from the locals regarding the mysterious events happening in the house. Because of this, Kipps was forced to seek for answers to his questions and uncover the true identity of The Woman in Black. This pursuit for the truth leads him to a desperate race against time when he discovers his true intent.
